Narsil is perhaps the most famous sword in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. At the end of the Second Age of Middle-earth, the last alliance of elves and humans, a great battle was fought against Sauron™. Narsil's blade was shattered by Sauron when Elendil fell and created the shards of Narsil. The shards were kept for safe storage in Rivendell, Elrond's house. Legend has it that one day the sword would be reforged and the king would return. Narsil's miniature shards on a scale of 1:5 are presented with a hand-painted cold-cast polyresin statue of an eleven princess weighing a shield on which the removable shards lie. This updated true color version reflects the actual tanning color of the stone statue and blue velvet fabric, rather than the blue stone and silver fabric colors of the previous version.
