Théoden was the noble and courageous king of Rohan and lord of the Riddermark. He led his people to victory against the Uruk-hai at the Battle of Helm's Gorge. Then he gathered his forces to defend Gondor to protect the white city of Minas Tirith for the hope of all Middle-earth. He fought valiantly against the forces of Mordor in the Pelennor fields, where he put up his last resistance.
Théoden's armor and weapons were the best in Rohan. His steel helmet was artfully engraved and enamelled and featured a horse's head comb. The surface was richly decorated with sun and horse motifs made of bronze and copper. The leather neck protector was embossed with Rohirric designs.
